VERNAZZA (and a giveaway from ZAFUL)

Sharing to you a visual diary of our day in Vernazza, one of the 5 beautiful villages of Cinque Terre. 

It was a gloomy day spent walking around the picturesque town. Despite the weather, Patrick and I still managed to do some exploring which led us to an Italian restaurant tucked in an alley, away from all the tourists. I had mussels while he had pesto gnocchi and a carafe of Italian white wine to pair with our lovely meal. Not all shops were open and not much tourists can be spotted unlike in the months of July-September where all villages of Cinque Terre are packed with travellers from all over the globe. We personally loved it though, 'cos it's not often that you get to experience such lovely place and have it all to yourself. We explored, climbed some rocks to get a better view of the sea and  stayed in a cafe, waited for sun set while sipping on a shot of espresso.

Quiet and charming- exactly how I would describe this lovely day.
